Primark has issued a huge change to its Christmas returns ahead of the festive shopping rush. Primark , which operates its world’s biggest branch right here in Birmingham , is shaking up its return policy this Christmas . Primark has confirmed it will extend its return policy for purchases from October 14 to 30th January this year. Primark has said any items brought between October 14 up until 30 January can be refunded or exchanged during that period. The fashion chain and bargain high street giant will accept the returned item if its in a saleable condition, with the tags attached and a valid receipt. READ MORE Motorway drivers face unexpected £200 fines after ‘being held accountable’ On its website, Primark says: “To obtain a refund or exchange a till receipt is needed, the item must be in a saleable condition with all tags attached and it must be within 28 days of purchase. You will find the latest date that you can return an item on your till receipt.” It adds: “We’re happy to offer a refund or exchange on any item within 28 days of purchase, as long as it’s returned in saleable condition with the original receipt. “Products purchased on or after 14th October 2025 can be returned for a refund or exchange , provided the item is returned in a saleable condition with the tags attached and you have a valid receipt. until 30th January 2026. “Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. If you don’t have the credit or debit card used for the purchase, we can offer an exchange instead. “For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on underwear (including sets), piercing jewelry, opened or unsealed health and beauty products, gift cards (including digital and third-party gift cards), face masks, or swimwear without an intact hygiene seal. “This policy does not affect your legal rights. Please note that Primark does not offer returns or exchanges by mail for non-faulty items or in-store purchases. If you’ve received a faulty item, please visit your nearest store.”
