    Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his business program during his visit to New York, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with Katinka Walstrom, Chief Commercial Officer of The Bank of New York (BNY).

    BNY is a leading American banking and investment group offering a wide range of financial services, including asset management, custody and securities services, as well as public and private finance solutions.

    During the meeting, support was expressed for the bank’s plans to assist in the issuance and placement of Eurobonds by major Uzbek enterprises, as well as in the development of Uzbekistan’s banking and financial sector.
