With Christmas approaching, shoppers may be on the lookout for a new artificial tree to deck the halls with. At the moment, there are a range of deals on that offer high quality trees that 'look real' but are for half the price. Yimbly, an online marketplace owned by the Daily Record's parent company Reach PLC, is currently offering the HOMCOM 4/5/6ft Prelit Snow Flocked Christmas Tree on sale. The smallest 4ft option is now £38.25, while the 5ft option costs £49.99 and the 6ft is £68. However, shoppers can snap up the Christmas tree for even less by entering the 10% discount code AUTUMN10 at the checkout. Valid until the end of November, this code drops the price of the smallest 4ft tree to £34.43, the 5ft to £45, and the largest 6ft option to £61.20. The green tree is covered in pretty artificial snow and features warm white LED lights to save buyers time and money on having to add their own. It is said to be 'perfect for placing presents under' and is sure to be the 'focal point' of any room that it is in. To save time, the HOMCOM Christmas tree is easily assembled and it also comes with a removable base to hold everything in place. Despite it being artificial, shoppers are praising it for its authentic look for cheaper prices. Another option is the Habitat 6ft Pre lit Snowy Slim Christmas Tree for £40 at Argos. This tree weighs 3kg, and comes with a 'light dusting of snow and pre-lit with 100 warm white bulbs' for a festive feeling. Those who may want to splurge out a little could instead look at the 6ft Pre-Lit Pine Christmas Tree for £89 on M&S. This tree comes with 200 static warm white bulbs that are scattered across the branches and it also has 'memory branch technology' which is said to ensure the tree falls into place with little rearranging needed. There are currently no reviews for the HOMCOM Christmas Tree on the Yimbly website. However, shoppers have shared their thoughts on the same tree on the Robert Dyas website where the 5ft option is on offer for £46.99. One wrote: "This is just what we wanted and it looks even better than the photos. For an artificial tree, it looks as real as it can get. The branches are lush and thick, the snow is heavy, and the lights are strong and bright. The snow did shed a little when we unpacked it but once it's up that's not a problem and it looks so good. I'm delighted." Someone else commented: "Looks better in real life. Made life so much easier now that the lights are already incorporated.” A third person wrote: "This tree looks beautiful and was so easy to assemble." Although there were no opposing views on the tree itself, one shopper shared general feedback about Yimbly on Trustpilot. They explained: "The product arrived on time which is very helpful. My only concern is it came without any settings instructions. It's got a simple manual but no instructions on how to setup." Another said: "Despite a problem with the delay in the delivery of the order it was reassuring to know it was being dealt with promptly."
