A well-known hotel has announced the start of ambitious redevelopment plans. The Grand Hotel in Swansea, located next to Swansea train station, has revealed 55 luxury new bedrooms will be created by the end of 2026. The plans also include a new rooftop bar and kitchen. There will be a green living wall and roof, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a new gym, and new dining rooms and residents’ lounge as part of the investment. Business will continue as usual around the enhancement works, the hotel confirmed. The Grand Hotel is a landmark building in the city. A huge banner has been erected on the side of the hotel announcing the plans, reading: “The Grand Hotel Swansea redevelopment.
