Political campaigns continue in Jubilee Hills despite Cyclone Montha

Hyderabad: Amid adverse weather conditions caused by the impact of Cyclone Montha, which brought heavy rain on Wednesday, political parties continued their campaigns in the Jubilee Hills constituency. Moreover, the heavy downpour did not deter the enthusiasm of party workers and candidates, who were seen engaging with the public and addressing their concerns. The determination to continue campaigning, even in difficult weather, highlighted the importance of the upcoming elections and the dedication of the parties involved. For instance, BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha campaigned in Subhash Nagar, Vaddera Basthi and other slums in Srinagar Colony by visiting door-to-door, along with former minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy and party supporters. She also campaigned in the evening in slums and localities including Harijana Basthi, Dattatreya Nagar and Shivaji Nagar in Shaikpet Division. Congress candidate Naveen Yadav toured Somajiguda, Yellareddyguda and slums, along with senior leaders and supporters, and interacted with the voters during door-to-door campaigns. Union Minister for Mines G Kishan Reddy also campaigned in the Jubilee Hills constituency. He toured colonies at Yellareddyguda and Srinagar Colony and took part in a padayatra and door-to-door campaigns. As the cyclone’s impact continued throughout the day, the political activities in Jubilee Hills remained largely unaffected, with parties adapting to the conditions and maintaining their presence in the constituency.
