Officers are keen to speak to this man following reports of a person acting suspiciously and following lone women. On Monday 4 August, police received reports of a man acting suspiciously at two stores in Macclesfield town centre. Four days later, they received more reports of a man matching the same description exhibiting the same behaviour in two retail stores in the Handforth area. During the incident the man was seen acting suspiciously and following women that were alone. Enquiries in relation to the incident have been ongoing and officers have now released CCTV footage of a man they are keen to speak to. Inspector Richard Haque, of Macclesfield local policing unit, said: “These are extremely concerning incidents, and we are keen to trace this man as soon as possible. “The footage is extremely clear, and I would urge anyone who recognises the man to get in touch. Information can be reported via www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or by calling 101, quoting IML 2150470. “I would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to come forward.” —- Day in day out, our reporters in the Manchester Evening News newsroom bring you remarkable stories from all aspects of Mancunian life.
