Police tape off street in north Manchester amid incident

Police taped off a street in north Manchester following an incident in the early hours of Sunday (October 26). Police and paramedics were called to the scene on Anfield Road in Moston following a call for the concern for the welfare of a person. It's understood they were found unconscious and rushed to hospital from the scene where they later died. No further details have been confirmed. Join the Manchester Evening News WhatsApp group HERE A large emergency services presence remained in attendance throughout the morning, with multiple police vehicles and tape stretching across the residential road. Investigations were carried out to determine the circumstances involved. It's thought a person had collapsed in the street.
