MIDLAND, MI — Police are investigating after a man was found dead in Midland. About 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, Midland police officers responded to the 800 Block of Joe Mann Boulevard for a well-being check on a man suspected of having a mental health emergency. They arrived to find the 47-year-old man dead near the parking lot of a hotel. Officers secured the scene and summoned detectives to begin an investigation. The cause and manner of the man’s death are yet to be determined. Police did not disclose the man’s name or where he resided.
