He described the accord as a historic achievement that proves how diplomacy can resolve long-standing disputes. My deep appreciation to President Donald Trump for his instrumental role in advancing peace through the Kuala Lumpur Accord, the Gaza Peace Plan, and his resolute efforts for stability in the Middle East and South Asia, saving millions of lives across the globe.” Diplomatic observers noted that PM Shehbaz’s acknowledgement reflects Pakistan’s support for international efforts aimed at promoting peace and regional stability. Details of the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord The Peace Accord, signed between Cambodia and Thailand, expands on an earlier ceasefire and aims to end years of border tensions. The agreement also includes the release of 18 Cambodian soldiers held as prisoners and the withdrawal of heavy weapons from disputed areas.
