Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2025 (UPITS-2025) today in Greater Noida. The trade show will run from September 25 to 29, with Russia participating as a partner country. It feature over 2,400 exhibitors, along with 125,000 B2B visitors and 450,000 B2C visitors.
5000+ security officers deployed at Trade Event in Greater Noida
Security has been increased. A four-tier security cordon placed, with special measures at district borders to prevent any issues. More than 5,000 personnel deployed for the event. This includes traffic police, women police, intelligence units, special commandos, and paramilitary forces. Security around the Expo Mart complex, the venue for the trade show, has also strengthened. Drone cameras and CCTV will monitor all activities. Traffic diversions have been put in place to reduce congestion, and dedicated parking areas created for visitors.
Aligns with Make in India, Vocal for Local, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat
The trade show in Greater Noida aims to attract investors. It aligns with initiatives like Make in India, Vocal for Local, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Officials expect it to draw investors from Uttar Pradesh and leading businesses and entrepreneurs from across the country.
They anticipate that the five-day event will lead to new investments, create job opportunities, and further improve the state’s industrial profile. This year’s edition expected to larger than previous ones, bringing together thousands of exhibitors, global buyers, industry experts, policymakers, and business professionals.
