ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday praised Turkiye for its unwavering support on critical issues, especially its role in facilitating peace talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries. Talking to the visiting Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, Sharif highlighted the deep-rooted and enduring ties between Pakistan and Turkiye, calling them unbreakable and reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation. PM vows to deepen Pakistan-Turkiye relations The prime minister extended his warm regards to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, emphasizing the continued commitment to enhance collaboration in areas including security, counter-terrorism, counter-narcotics, police training, disaster management, and economic development. In response, Minister Yerlikaya expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended to him and his delegation, and conveyed President Erdogan’s greetings.
