To mark the milestone, the BJP has rolled out Sewa Pakhwada — a fortnight-long campaign of service initiatives that will run from September 19 to October 2. Health camps, cleanliness drives, awareness programmes, and fairs promoting indigenous products will be organised across India as part of the outreach. On his birthday, the Prime Minister will travel to Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, where he will launch the ‘Swasth Nari–Sashakt Pariwar’ campaign, aimed at improving maternal and child health. He is also expected to inaugurate the PM Mitra Park, a flagship textile initiative with a promised investment of Rs 23,140 crore, besides unveiling the ‘Adi Seva Parv’, which will focus on health, education, nutrition, livelihood, and water conservation in tribal regions. A new AI-powered chatbot, ‘Suman Sakhi’, designed to provide maternal health guidance, will also be introduced as part of the government’s push on women’s and children’s welfare. Development projects in Delhi In the national capital, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will inaugurate 41 Ayushman Aarogya Mandirs on September 17, as part of a plan to upgrade 300 existing healthcare centres. These revamped units—drawn from primary health centres, sub-centres, maternity centres, maternity homes and polyclinics—will provide enhanced services such as diagnostics, maternity care, and outpatient facilities. The project is fully funded by the Delhi government, with another 19 centres due to open on September 30 and a total of 1,139 such Mandirs targeted by 2026. In addition, 16 new dedicated units are planned across the city.Live Events Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch 15 major projects in Delhi, including hospital blocks, 150 dialysis centres, 75 drones for city policing, and two waste-to-energy plants. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has lined up a series of long-pending civic works worth over Rs 3,000 crore under the Sewa Pakhwada initiative. These include the Delhi Drainage Master Plan, new multilevel parking lots at GK and Punjabi Bagh, the Nand Nagari flyover, a long-awaited foot overbridge near the Rajputana Rifles regiment base, sanitation and water treatment projects such as the Okhla STP and Kondli WWTP upgrades, and the Ring Road/Yamuna Swachhata Abhiyan. Educational and healthcare projects are also on the list, with the opening of CM Shri Schools, a new MC Primary School at Prem Nagar, and a new block at BR Ambedkar University. A fire station at Narela and a Rs 65 crore grid station near Mandoli Jail, set to benefit 38,000 residents, will also be inaugurated. Mega campaign in Maharashtra In Maharashtra, the BJP has announced a fortnight-long healthcare drive. More than one lakh cataract surgeries will be conducted, alongside free eye check-ups for 10 lakh people and the distribution of spectacles to the needy. The campaign, supported by NGOs and social groups, will also include blood donation camps and 17 separate service initiatives. Party leaders have pitched it as an outreach effort to connect with people at the grassroots. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has held review meetings with ministers and party leaders to ensure smooth execution. Cultural & outreach programmes The birthday celebrations in Delhi began with a blood donation camp and the Sewa Sankalp Walk at Kartavya Path, followed by the opening of an exhibition on the Centre’s development initiatives. On Thursday, IGI Stadium will host Mera Desh Pahle – The Untold Story of Shri Narendra Modi, a musical saga conceptualised by Bollywood lyricist Manoj Muntashir. Special campaign in Bihar In election-bound Bihar, the BJP has launched special raths fitted with LED screens that will travel across the state, showcasing Chalo Jeete Hain, a short film on Modi’s childhood struggles.Add as a Reliable and Trusted News Source Add Now!
The film will be screened at nearly 50,000 locations to highlight the Prime Minister’s journey of perseverance, service, and leadership.
