Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the phone to extend birthday wishes on his 73rd birthday. He wished the Russian leader good health and continued success in all his future endeavours.
During the conversation, the two leaders reviewed the progress of the India-Russia bilateral agenda and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
Prime Minister Modi also said he looks forward to welcoming President Putin to India for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit.
