Berkshire County Head Start, an early education center, will celebrate 60 years of serving families in the community with a free, festive birthday event from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at 1 Meadow Lane.
The celebration for all ages will feature fun activities and refreshments. The free event is open to Berkshire County Head Start families past, present and future, as well as community members.
Head Start provides early childhood education, family support services and community programs designed to foster school readiness and lifelong success for children and families.
