The Pittsburgh Steelers’ playoff chances are shooting up after a 3-1 start to the year. With a tough back end to the schedule, they are still not the divisional favorites, as that would be the 1-3 Baltimore Ravens, who are reeling.
According to Sports Line, the Steelers have an 85.5 percent chance to make the postseason. They have narrowed their odds for the division, too, climbing to second in front the Cincinnati Bengals and on the heels of the Ravens.
As of right now, the Steelers own sole possession of first place in the AFC North. With the Bengals losing Joe Burrow for the season and the Ravens in a tough spot, they seem to be in a perfect position to make a push for their first division title since 2020.
The Steelers have the second best odds in the entire AFC to make the postseason, only behind the Buffalo Bills. A lot of their success and odds is not only based on what they have done, but what now appears to be a much lighter schedule than it once was with four games against the Cleveland Browns and the Burrow-less Bengals on the docket.
If the Steelers can continue to even squeak by in games, another postseason berth seems likely for the Steelers, who revamped their team this offseason in an effort to win a playoff game.
