By wearing Burberry, a British fashion house, Melania gave a diplomatic nod to her host country in the €2,150 Kensington Trench; however, the Daily Mail has pointed out that the jacket is from 2020 when Italian Riccardo Tisci was in charge.

Melania paired the jacket with Saint Laurent flat-top sunglasses and Christian Dior leather riding boots.

Purple reign: Melania’s Dior moment with the Royals

Arriving at Windsor Castle, the First Lady looked elegant as she wore a wide-brimmed hat in a deep plum hue. Paired with a Christian Dior Haute Couture dark grey flared suit jacket and matching pencil skirt, Melania and the Princess of Wales’ outfits coordinated in their rich berry shades.

With the US President matching his wife in a dark purple tie, the pair met with King Charles and Queen Camilla to begin their series of royal engagements.

Going bold in canary yellow at the State Banquet

Melania chose to go bold and bright for the State Banquet after her subdued Christian Dior outfit, and certainly ensured all eyes were on her.

Wearing a sun-yellow Carolina Herrera gown, the off-the-shoulder dress featured a slit along the side and a structured waist. Cinching herself in with a lilac belt, the First Lady completed her look with a jaw-dropping pair of emeralds and a nude pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes.

Standing out against the royals’ regal attire, Melania was a picture of modern dressing, with some people suggesting she was sending a message of individuality by opting for a bright colour and modern style.

Touring Windsor Castle

While walking the hallways of Windsor Castle with Queen Camilla, Melania chose to wear a leather caramel skirt suit by Louis Vuitton paired with high snakeskin pumps by Manolo Blahnik.

This look was one of Melania’s more serious of the trip with strong ‘I mean business’ enegry although maintained a high fashion vibe, showing her strong sense of style.

Staying fashionable at Frogmore

Opting for a more casual look to end the tour, the First Lady joined the Princess of Wales at Frogmore Gardens as she attended a picnic with the Squirrel Scouts.

Wearing the trend of the season, suede, Melania paired her brown suede jacket from Ralph Lauren with cream trousers from Loro Piana and elegant tan loafers.

Matching with Kate, both ladies sported Ralph Lauren while on their excursion, embodying the autumnal trend with their outfits’ dark colours.
