Phyllis had a deep passion for gardening, particularly her collection of roses, which she nurtured with great care. Her home was often filled with the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread and cookies, as she loved to bake for her family and friends. An avid entertainer, she welcomed guests into her home, creating lasting memories around the dining table.

Additionally, Phyllis volunteered at the La Mirada Theatre for many years, sharing her love for the arts with others. She also had a keen eye for design and enjoyed remodeling and decorating her home, ensuring it reflected her vibrant spirit.
