The Philadelphia Eagles (4-0) remain undefeated entering Week 5 after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-25, on the road. Now, they will return home to face the Denver Broncos (2-2) at Lincoln Financial Stadium. It will be a bittersweet week for Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, who spent three NFL seasons in Denver as the Broncos’ head coach before coming to Philly. “I still have good friends in that organization,” he said. “I wish them nothing but the best except this week. [Denver Broncos Head Coach] Sean Payton’s a friend of mine. I think there’s only about eight or nine players left from when I was there, and they’re all good players, so really not too much. It’s four years down the road. Those are dog years in this business.”While the Broncos don’t have a perfect record heading into this Sunday’s matchup, Fangio knows his team still faces a tall task. “He’s an excellent play caller,” he said of Sean Payton. “There are very multiple on offense with multiple personnel groups, multiple schemes from the play standpoint, but yet still has a good bit of old school in him and they’ll run the ball. They like the power game and the run game. He’s really good. He’s tough to go against.
