During the rally, the Somali-American state senator reportedly addressed people in Arabic while waving a Somali flag. A short clip of Fateh's actions was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by an account titled End Wokeness.Phil Mickelson was quick to repost the video on his X timeline, sharing a strong message for the politician. While labeling Fateh as "wonderful", the veteran golfer opined how elected US officials are the best when it comes to representing the USA or identifying the interests of the United States. The six-time major champion wrote on his X timeline:"Omar might be a wonderful person, I don’t know, BUT elected officials in AMERICA should represent AMERICAN CITIZENS and the best interests of AMERICA."Phil Mickelson's opinion on Fateh stems from a firm political stand alongside the Trump administration. From time to time, the veteran golfer has shared his views on American politics, criticizing Democrats heavily. His recent activities include calling California Governor Gavin Newsom out over the State of California's energy and oil policies. While addressing the crowd, she said:"we must remember, in a time such as this, we are not the crazy ones, New York City. We are not the outlandish ones, New York City. They want us to think we are crazy; we are sane."Soon after AOC's video from the rally in Queens was shared on X, Anthony Kim reposted the clip, along with a sly dig at AOC. SOBER is DOPE 🔥"Although Phil Mickelson did not comment on his thoughts against Ocasio-Cortez's words, the golfer ended up reposting Kim's tweet and his strong stance against the Democratic Mayoral candidate.
