Peter Rhodes on hospitals, civil war and what to do when the magic money tree runs out

Now, it is a well-known fact that every rainbow ends at a crock (pot) of gold. So is it not entirely feasible that Ms Reeves has been busy conducting a nationwide search for these crocks or as she doubtless calls them “unearned and untaxed income”? Rainbow gold could provide a useful source of income for the Exchequer. After all, the magic money tree can’t last for ever.

The most worrying part of Charlie Kirk’s assassination was that the alleged sniper, having killed the political influencer, simply went home where, it seems, his father persuaded him to give himself up. The most dangerous enemy is the one who is not afraid to die. As any jihadist will tell you.
