A person incarcerated at the Cheshire County jail allegedly tried to hire someone outside the Keene facility to murder two people, according to Keene police. Edward LePore, 45, is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation to commit murder, a news release from the department said Tuesday. The charges stem from an investigation that included monitoring communications between LePore and the other person, the release says. The investigation had been ongoing throughout the month of October, according to police. LePore is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in Eighth Circuit Court in Keene. According to court records, LePore went into custody earlier this year after being charged with financial exploitation and theft in Carroll County.
