Police were called to London Bridge station on Monday evening after reports of a "man behaving suspiciously". Rail line Thameslink confirmed that police were at the station following reports of an incident, but the exact details are not yet clear. "The train was stopped at London Bridge while officers carried out a full search of the train and platform as a precaution. No one matching the description was found and while officers are satisfied there is no risk to the public, CCTV enquiries are ongoing." In an updated statement, Thameslink said: "We are aware that London Bridge station was evacuated for a short period of time. "We apologise for any worry caused to customers and confirm that the station has re-opened for safe travel through this station. "Some trains may be delayed or their calling pattern altered so please check journey planners or station information boards for updated platform and train information." National Rail has said delays delays to Thameslink services at London Bridge expected until 8pm. Southern Rail issued the following statement: "The police have confirmed that it is safe to travel through London Bridge. Some service changes have been put in place which means your train may no longer call at your destination."
