Honouring local talent A highlight of the day was the participation of Elena Cavas, a cyclist from Cartagena who recently claimed her third Spanish time trial title. She was honoured by organisers and greeted with applause in her hometown, inspiring both experienced riders and newcomers to keep pushing towards their goals. A community united The Bike Marathon Ruta 062 was more than just a race, it was a celebration of solidarity and local pride. With every kilometre pedalled, participants helped make a real difference, proving once again that when the community comes together, everyone wins.
