Advertisement - LAHORE, Oct 27 (APP):Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), in its 38th meeting of current fiscal year, has approved eight development schemes in various sectors with accumulative estimated cost of to Rs. 3,579.9 million . Presided over by P&D Board Chairman Dr. Naeem Rauf here Monday, the meeting approved the following schemes: 1. NFE BEACON – Non-Formal Education: Bringing Education Awareness through Community Outreach & Networks (Position Paper: Vehicle Purchase). 2. Rehabilitation/Improvement of Southern Bypass Bahawalpur–Hasilpur Road to National Highway (N-5), Length 24.66 km, District Bahawalpur (Phase-I), at an estimated cost of Rs. 943.500 million. 3. Construction of Road from Khairpur Tamewali to Maroot (Length: 44 km), District Bahawalpur, at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,200 million. 4. Construction/Reconstruction/Improvement of Metalled Road from Kotani Road to BMP Check Post Lakhani, Length 7.50 km, including Pile Foundation Bridge (2,000 Rft), District Dera Ghazi Khan/Taunsa, at an estimated cost of Rs. 986.900 million. 5. Forensic Information Management System Phase-II (Position Paper: Creation of Posts). 6. Media Think Tank for Resilience & Counter-Narrative Initiative (MTRNI) (Position Paper: Creation of Posts and Vehicle Purchase). 7. AI-Based Litigation Management & Training System (Position Paper: Creation of Posts). 8. Construction of Lady Bar Rooms in Punjab, at an estimated cost of Rs. 450 million. The meeting was attended by Chief Economist Masood Anwar, P&D Board members and other senior officers.
