The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) conferred to the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) the Silver Award for earning a 92.35% Very Satisfactory rating in the 2024 Report Card Survey (RCS) 2.0, during the awarding ceremony held at Conrad Manila in Pasay City on October 23, 2025. The PDIC ranked 16th among Government-Owned or -Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) and 33rd out of the 904 evaluated government agencies for the first cycle implementation. The recognition underscores the Corporation’s commitment to upholding efficient, transparent, and client-centered public service in accordance with the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 or Republic Act No. 11032. The RCS 2.0 is one of ARTA’s flagship programs that serves as a holistic tool to assess the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of government services through direct citizen feedback and onsite validation. It also provides all government agencies, including local government units, GOCCs, state universities and colleges, and other government instrumentalities, with an opportunity to showcase their streamlined programs aimed at improving the adequacy of public service. The Silver Award stands as a testament to the PDIC’s process enhancement efforts and ongoing digital transformation initiatives, which contribute to elevating the quality of government service and demonstrate the Corporation’s pursuit of continuous progress for the benefit of the depositing public and all its stakeholders. The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) was established on 22 June 1963 by Republic Act 3591 to protect depositors and help maintain stability in the financial system. The PDIC is an attached agency to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, and a member of the Financial Sector Forum, the Financial Stability Coordination Council, and the Financial Inclusion Steering Committee.
