Gaza, October 03 (QNA) – A Palestinian girl was martyred and several civilians were injured on Friday following Israeli shelling on the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said the girl was killed in an Israeli drone strike on the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, which also left several civilians wounded. Israeli artillery simultaneously shelled multiple areas in the city center.

Local sources reported that Israeli helicopters and drones targeted residential homes in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City, while Israeli forces detonated several houses in Al-Sabra, south of the city, using an armored vehicle packed with explosives.

According to health authorities in Gaza, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7, 2023, has killed 66,225 Palestinians — mostly women and children — and wounded 168,938 others. Many victims remain trapped under the rubble, unreachable by ambulances and rescue teams. (QNA)
