Pakistan players wanted to bring Kashmir, Air Force after beating India in Asia Cup, special jersey printed
The Asia Cup 2025 should have been a celebration of cricket, but it has turned into one of the most dramatic tournaments in history, filled with controversies, politics, and behind-the-scenes power struggles. India won the title after defeating Pakistan by five wickets in a thrilling final, but the victory has been overshadowed by a series of shocking incidents both on and off the field.
The Pakistan cricket team had planned something bigger that would have caught the attention of the entire world and shown their true colors. If they did what they wanted, it would have proved that Pakistan has been officially involved in the terror activity, including the Pahalgam attack earlier this year.
Asia Cup 2025 turned into full-blown political drama
At the start, the Indian team refused to shake hands with the Pakistan players and did the same throughout the tournament due to Operation Sindoor, but then the Men in Green crossed the limits with their gun-firing and airplane-crash gestures.

Adding to the controversy, the Men in Blue refused to take the Asia Cup trophy from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who also serves as Pakistan’s Interior Minister. Even days after the final, the trophy is still sitting in Dubai.
Mohsin Naqvi refused to hand it over to the Indian cricket team, insisting that captain Suryakumar Yadav should come to his office to collect it in person. This standoff has now divided the ACC. Sri Lanka has sided with India, Bangladesh has aligned with Pakistan, and Afghanistan is reportedly switching sides depending on the situation.
Tensions escalate as Pakistan planned a political statement on Kashmir had they won the Asia Cup 2025
Adding fuel to the fire, it is being said that the Pakistan cricket team had allegedly planned a political statement, highlighting “Azad Kashmir”, if they had won the final against India, as per RevSportz journalist Rohit Juglan.
A close source from the team said they had even prepared a specially printed T-shirt highlighting Azad Kashmir, intended to be displayed on the grand stage during celebrations.

The plan wasn’t just about a T-shirt, but the team was reportedly ready to mention the Pakistan Air Force as part of the message during the celebrations to make sure that their statement would grab attention far beyond the cricket field.
Pakistan’s “Azad Kashmir” plan flopped by India
It is being said that Kashmir was a definite part of their post-match strategy. With India winning the Asia Cup 2025 on September 28 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Pakistan’s plan never materialized, but it shows how they wanted to clear their intentions against India.
A close source from the Pakistan cricket team, who was part of conversations with the players, told Revsportz: “The Pakistan team had planned to make a statement about Azad Kashmir if they had won the Asia Cup 2025 final. They had even printed a special T-shirt to advertise their Azad Kashmir mission. The players were planning to show this message on the grand stage and mention the Air Force as well. If they won, the Kashmir issue was confirmed to be mentioned.”
