While Green Bay did not make any trades ahead of the NFL trade deadline, there were no shortage of roster moves as it prepares to take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. The first order of business, unfortunately, was putting Kraft on season-ending injured reserve. To replace him on the active roster, the Packers signed Josh Whyle from their own practice squad to the active roster. They did the same with defensive lineman Arron Mosby. In addition, Green Bay signed tight ends McCallan Castles and Drake Dabney to its practice squad. Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Michael Thomas II was also added to the practice squad. After releasing him on Monday, the Packers also re-signed linebacker Kristian Welch to the practice squad. Offensive lineman Lecitus Smith was also released.
