Packers Receive Massive Update on Injured Star Before Browns Game

The Green Bay Packers will look to go 3-0 to begin the 2025 NFL season this week against the Cleveland Browns. After defeating the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders to begin the year, a win over the Browns seems likely.
However, the Packers are facing a trap game. Going up against Cleveland should offer them an easier matchup than the first two weeks, but they can’t afford to look past them.
Heading into this week’s game, there have been questions about the health status of star tight end Tucker Kraft.

During practice this week, Kraft went down with a knee injury. While there was a scare due to the injury, Green Bay has received good news regarding its injured star.
According to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Kraft will be good to go against the Browns this week. The knee injury was minor and won’t hold him out a single game.
“Good news for Green Bay: After an injury scare Thursday and not practicing Friday, Packers TE Tucker Kraft is expected to play Sunday vs. the Browns, per The Insiders,” Pelissero wrote.
Kraft has been a breakout star for the Packers this season. He has been playing at a very high level and would be one of the best tight ends in the NFL if he continues playing at the level he has shown thus far.
Throughout the first two games of the year, Kraft has caught eight passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns. He has become one of Jordan Love’s favorite targets.
Against a far inferior Cleveland team, Green Bay will need all of its players to make sure it takes care of business. With a huge Week 4 matchup on the road against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football looming, the Packers simply cannot afford to have a letdown performance against the Browns.

Hopefully, the injury is just a blip on the radar that isn’t seen again. Green Bay cannot afford to have Kraft miss time this season.
All of that being said, Kraft will be on the field for the Packers this week. He’ll present a major threat that Cleveland’s defense will need to focus on.
