Osbourne sat in the throne at the Comic Con Midlands in Birmingham England on July 12, just 10 days prior to his death on July 22. The black chair features ornate gothic detailing and two gold lions on each of the armrests. View directly on Instagram According to the item description on the Goldin website, the iconic piece of furniture “exhibits moderate evidence of use, with the noses of the lions exhibiting chipping, the legs exhibiting chipping, and the arms and chair exhibiting chipping and scratches.” As of the time of publication, the bid for Osbourne’s personally-owned throne sits at $6,500, though there are still 21 days left for bidders to drive up the price.
