The Tamworth-based housebuilder is currently delivering 300 affordable homes across seven East Midlands developments, which the judging panel praised, commenting: “Owl is flying high after creating much-needed affordable housing across the East Midlands.
Its focus on brownfield regeneration, strong partnerships and energy-efficient, high-quality homes is majestic, and so too is its ability to overcome complex technical challenges while delivering at pace. They’re certainly worth a hoot!”
Gareth Wilkes, Construction Director at Owl Partnerships said: “Part of the criteria for this award was about making a visible impact in the region, which we were well-positioned to evidence through the volume and varied locations of our developments.
“Our flagship, £24m regeneration scheme at Loughborough Road stood as a particularly strong example of this impact, and we’re looking forward to handing over these homes to Nottingham Community Housing Association imminently.
“Our team works collaboratively to deliver the best quality affordable homes in areas where people want to live. Achieving this award, especially for our strong partnerships, is a fantastic endorsement and a proud moment for the entire team,” adds Gareth.
In addition to winning Residential Developer of the Year, Owl Partnerships’ Loughborough Road development was also a finalist for the Regeneration and Restoration Project of the Year.
Andrew Browne, Land & Partnerships Director at Owl Partnerships concludes: “This was a true evening of celebration for our team, who work tirelessly to deliver a top-quality product and thriving communities. This recognition follows our earlier success in the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards, another benchmark of quality, and further assures our partners they are working alongside the best affordable housebuilder in the East Midlands!
“The remainder of 2025 marks a pivotal time for Owl Partnerships as we plan to unveil a further four developments by the end of the year, including two in North Nottingham. We are incredibly proud that this award cements our position as a business making a real difference across the Midlands and are excited for the future.”
