An Amazon vacuum cleaner that rivals Shark and Dyson is now nearly half price. In a new limited-time offer, the Smoture VAC02 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has seen its price cut from £199.99 to £109.99. This equates to a saving of £90 or 45% off the original price, marking its cheapest ever price according to price tracker camelcamelcamel . This budget-friendly model regularly appears in Amazon’s best-selling vacuum cleaners list and has been flagged as an Amazon’s Choice product. It provides a more affordable alternative to devices like the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap (£170) and boasts an impressive review score of 4.6 stars, slightly higher than Shark’s 4.5. The Smoture VAC02 is said to deliver ‘remarkable’ suction thanks to its brushless 600W motor, enabling it to eliminate dust, pet hair and stubborn dirt from carpets, hardwood floors and furniture. The vacuum comes fitted with an LED panel for easy monitoring and adjusting of its suction levels. When set to Auto mode, the suction automatically adjusts to match the floor type, increasing strength for carpets and decreasing it for hard floors. The Smoture features a powerful battery that can run for up to 65 minutes on a single charge and takes between four and five hours to fully recharge. It also stands freely, allowing users to conveniently prop the vacuum cleaner upright without it toppling over, while green LED headlights illuminate hidden dirt, reports the Express . Nevertheless, the Smoture VAC02 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has won over Amazon shoppers, with 92% of buyers awarding it four or five stars. Many satisfied customers have claimed it ‘outperforms’ more expensive Dyson and Shark models. One said: “The suction is excellent, it easily picks up dirt, pet hair, and debris from both carpets and hard floors without needing to go over the same spot. The battery life is also outstanding and I really appreciate the visible battery level indicator. “I’ve owned both Dyson and Shark cordless vacuums, and this outperforms them both in terms of power and usability. It’s lightweight, easy to manoeuvre, and feels well-designed.” Another said: “It’s lightweight, easy to use, easy to empty and has transformed my vacuuming. It’s easy to carry up and down stairs. The amount that comes off my carpets and hard floors proves it’s really powerful. I can’t fault it in any way, and for the reasonable price, it outperforms other, more expensive cleaners.” However, one buyer left a more mixed three-star review for the Smoture vacuum , saying: “I expected it to vacuum my whole house on one charge but it only did my kitchen and lounge then packed up. It picked up well and I could see the dust and bits of crumbs because of the light on the front but I want it to do the whole house in one go, I only have a little house, I wonder if the battery is faulty.” In contrast, another rave review said: “Bought this as a replacement for a Shark that would no longer pick anything up. Using this is like night and day – the suction is amazing, and we ended up having to empty it four times doing one rug on the first go (we have six cats, so you can imagine the fur buildup). “The auto feature is great as we have both carpet and hard flooring. It is not too heavy and charges quickly.”
