LANSING, MI — An Otsego County man was bummed out when he saw the Club Keno The Jack jackpot reset recently. Little did he know, the reset was actually a good thing for him as he was the winner of a $564,219 grand prize.
“I play Club Keno every now and then, but I only play The Jack when it gets over $100,000,” said the 45-year-old winner who chose to remain anonymous. “I bought a ticket for 30 draws, and when I got home, I decided that if the draws were still going, I would go somewhere to have a drink and watch the rest.
“I got on the Lottery app to see what draw it was on and was bummed when I saw someone had won The Jack. I scanned my ticket to check it and was stunned when I found out I was the big winner! All I could think was: ‘What am I going to do with all this money?’ It was a good feeling!”
The winner matched all nine of his The Jack numbers — 11-23-25-26-29-46-55-59-75 — as part of the 20 numbers drawn in Club Keno drawing 2511072 on Sept. 13, to win the prize. The Jack is an add-on option for Club Keno draws that assigns nine easy pick numbers to the player. If a player matches all nine numbers, they win the jackpot. Other prizes can be awarded depending on how many numbers the player matches.
The winner bought his ticket at the Gaylord South EZ Mart, located at 2678 South Otsego Avenue in Gaylord. He plans on investing the winnings.

The last players from Michigan to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot is the Breakfast Club lottery club which claimed a $842 million jackpot in June 2024. The members plan to use the money to buy a home in Florida and travel.
And while they were lucky winners, it’s smart for players to check their tickets immediately as a Powerball winner worth $250,000 sold in Bloomfield Hills in 2024 went unclaimed. That money went to the state’s School Aid Fund.
