TUCSON, Ariz. — Oklahoma State’s season of misery continued in Arizona on Saturday afternoon.
The Cowboys struggled offensively and could only produce a defensive touchdown in a 41-13 loss to the Wildcats in a Big 12 contest.
OSU (1-4, 0-2 in conference) never led and trailed 21-3 in the second quarter.
Quarterback Zane Flores was injured late in the third quarter with an apparent shoulder injury. The Cowboys used wide receiver Sam Jackson V and true freshman Banks Bowen to complete the game.
Oklahoma State has now lost 11 straight games against Big 12 competition dating back to last season.
The offense was held to a season-low 158 yards with 69 passing yards and 89 on the ground. OSU only averaged 2.7 yards per snap.
Flores finished 9-of-20 for 47 yards with an interception.
