Opinion: Our kids don't understand how technology is affecting their brains — and that's our fault

Schools could do a paradigm shift to undermine the technology hegemony. They could base themselves on human interaction, on human daily discovery, on outdoor exploring and interface or on mind-to-hand creating. They could base themselves on teaching kids how to know themselves, understand intimacy, understand gaslighting, how to think critically, how to wonder. They could teach empathy — which by definition means full-spectrum awareness and connection with self and other. They could focus on team problem-solving. Team questioning. Team enjoyment.
