If you have not been able to tell already, I have a lot of fun sharing opinions in these columns. All I have to do is include words such as Trump, Kirk, Jesus Christ, God, patriarchy, matriarchy or Israel and the Marxist zombies go crazy. It is not even very hard to show the public just how out of orbit a lot of the views expressed on the web are. Many are not even real people. They are bots, trolls or flawed personality types who have multiple accounts. There are a few genuine posters and I treat them very differently when I respond online. For some reason, elected leaders, particularly in the Legislature, are sensitive to online posts. Part of this originates from the fact that senators allow their staff to troll the internet and play games on news sites. While I have said this before, I will say it again. We regularly track people like this and they are not hard to deal with. Members of the public need to know that some of your elected leaders view these internet news games as leadership. As a voting public, we need to call out these people and oust them from office for incompetence. Real people matter, bots and trolls do not matter very much for Guam politics. Last week, several local media outlets were foisted into promoting a fake monarchy event at the Micronesia Mall intersection. The off-island people “organizing” these events are engaged in payola or pay-for-play and the public needs to know this. At the event, only 10-25 people showed up. When the turnout didn’t happen, they cancelled the silly rally. Even so, along with Charlie Hermosa, I took a U.S. flag and stood about 150 yards down the road from the intersection. We made a couple of signs to hold up for passersby. Charlie’s read, “God Bless the USA-Guam.” As an elected official, I am always asking for votes, so I used this event to hold up two signs. For those driving away from the very small crowd at the intersection, I held up a sign that said, “Vote McNinch.” For cars entering the intersection, I held up a sign that said, “Marxist Zombie Zone Ahead.” We counted the car horn honks. The intersection group got about 146, but our USA all the way signs got over 247. I was told the intersection group had the same cars driving by over and over again honking, so the number is likely far lower. Yes, we are aware of all the tricks these people use. While most cars waved and smiled at us with our USA flag, which we did not count, one US mainland woman yelled at me something about abortion and her body. While I do not mean to sound rude, I don’t really think anyone would want to have a baby with that woman. As a quick note, I should mention that the Guam Hatch Act does not apply to me because I am an elected official. I believe all college professors should be granted this exemption and it would be a good courtesy to provide. Last week, the Guam Legislature had a bill to try to give a better voice to veterans. Sen. Sabrina Salas Matanane was the primary sponsor and only one senator, Sabina Perez, did not support discussing the idea. I am a major supporter of veterans and I first joined the military as an Army National Guard member when I was 17. On Guam, over 70% of voting residents have either served in the military or had an immediate family member serve. We are in a military positive community and this is often not said very much by other elected leaders. I say it a lot. God Bless Guam and God Bless the USA! While President Donald Trump did not get the Nobel Peace Prize, his ego was boosted by all these Marxist zombies who started calling him a king. I tell everyone, all you have to do is read chapter two of the “Art of the Deal.” It is free online and it will tell you exactly who Trump is. He views a lot of things said about him as free advertising. I am sure he is pleased that his enemies call him king.
