Only three weekends left to try West Michigan’s dual-zipline that flies through the forest

MUSKEGON, MI — Glide over a Lake Michigan sand dune as you race alongside a friend on this dual zipline experience in Muskegon.
Muskegon Luge Adventure Park’s 1,400 foot dual zipline is open for three more weekends. Inside Muskegon State Park, the zipline experience is open until Oct. 19.
While most of us are on the ground looking up and impatiently waiting for fall color, you can move through the white pine and oak forest at speeds up to 25 mph.
First you need to muster up the courage to hike the 100 steps up to the top.
Once you step off the platform you’ll get a view of the top of the tree canopy, travel over the winter and summer luge tracks and then descend into the forest to the landing platform.
As a seasonal special, Muskegon Luge Adventure Park is running discount zipline packages until the very last day, starting at $26 for one run.
The zipline is only running on weekends and timeslots are limited so it is recommended to buy tickets in advance. Find pricing and availability at msports.org/zip-line.
While you’re in the woods, stay until dusk when the lights come on for the free Hike the Lights trail.
