Online Registration Mandatory for Habisyalis’ Stay at Four Centres in Puri

District Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida informed media representatives at Circuit House that only women who register online through starting September 19 at 10 AM will be eligible for accommodation. Unregistered individuals have been requested not to crowd the centres or seek lodging without prior approval.

Eligible applicants include widowed women up to 70 years of age and married women between 50 and 70 years. The administration has assured comprehensive arrangements for registered devotees, including secure lodging, temple darshan, Brundabati puja, Mahaprasad, health checkups, devotional programs, and sanitation facilities.

To ensure smooth execution, nodal and senior officers have been assigned supervisory roles. Volunteers and police personnel will assist in maintaining order and safety during temple visits.

Additional District Magistrates Sarat Chandra Behera and Nilamadhab Bhoi, Deputy Collector Priyadarshini Mallik, Information Officer Santosh Kumar Sethi, and Culture Officer Hemanta Behera were present at the briefing. DIO Biswanath Panda and Additional DIO Durga Prasad Jena have been tasked with managing the online registration process.

The Collector appealed for public cooperation and emphasized that the sacred observance must be conducted with discipline and devotion.
