Chinese tech giant OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus 15 series, including the OnePlus 15R (known as the OnePlus Ace 6 in China), will make its debut in China at the end of this month. While OnePlus has stayed fairly quiet about the Ace lineup so far, a new teaser has finally given us a good look at the device’s design and colour options and it’s shaping up to be quite an interesting release. The camera module on the top-left corner appears to take design cues from the OnePlus 15, but there’s a twist. Instead of a triple-lens array, the OnePlus 15R is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup. In addition to the silver model, OnePlus teased two more colours– white and a dark blue/black option. While the silver variant clearly aims to turn heads, the other two shades feel more understated and classic. Reports also hint at a metal frame and three openings on the top edge, likely housing microphones and possibly an IR blaster. OnePlus 15R Specifications (Expected) Under the hood, the OnePlus 15R is expected to sport a 1.5K BOE OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the device could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the same processor found in the OnePlus 13. The phone is tipped to include a massive 7800 mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging. For cameras, OnePlus is reportedly sticking with a triple-lens configuration similar to its predecessor, but with improved sensors for better shots. The phone may also come with IP68 and IP69 ratings. According to leaks, the India launch window is likely between December 15 and 25, just in time for the end-of-year shopping season.
