The OnePlus 15 has been unveiled in China this week, giving us one of the first phones in the market to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The OnePlus flagship phone has a lot of firsts from the brand, including its camera setup sans the Hasselblad branding which now completely belongs to Oppo phones. The OnePlus 15 also gets a triple rear camera system, powered by the new Android 16-based ColorOS 16 version and packing a fast-charging battery. OnePlus 15 Price The OnePlus 15 has launched with a starting price of CNY 3,999 (Rs 49,800 approx) for the base 12GB + 256GB model. The other variants 12GB +512GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB models are priced at CNY 4,299 (Rs 52,100 approx), CNY 4,599 (Rs 56,900 approx) and CNY 4,899 (Rs 60,100 approx), respectively. There’s also a 16GB + 1TB variant that will cost you CNY 5,399 (Rs 66,800 approx). The OnePlus 15 sale in China starts from October 28. OnePlus 15 Specifications OnePlus 15 launched in China features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K screen resolution and up to 165Hz refresh rate. The display gets Corning Gorilla Victus 2 protection. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The Chinese version of the OnePlus 15 comes with Android 16-based ColorOS 16 while the global variants will get the OxygenOS 16 version. The new OnePlus flagship gets a 50MP triple rear camera setup which includes a 50MP wide sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. The OnePlus 15 gets Wi-Fi 7, NFC and GPS along with USB C for connectivity. The OnePlus device packs a large 7,300mAh battery with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Along with the OnePlus 15, we also saw the OnePlus Ace 6 announced. Rumours suggest this could launch as the OnePlus 15R later in other markets and it gets last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset as the performance base along with a 165Hz AMOLED display, and a massive 7,800mAh battery on tap with 120W wired charging support.
