One Communications, formerly GTT, yesterday said that its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network now passes more than three quarters of all households in Guyana. A release from the company said that this cements its position as the country’s largest and most advanced fibre network. The latest expansion, it said, marks a major milestone in Guyana’s digital transformation, ensuring that residents, small businesses and large enterprises have access to world-class internet speed and reliability. With more than 170, 000 homes and business establishments within reach of its fibre service, the release said that the continued build-out of One Communi-cations’ network supports the Government of Guyana’s digital transformation agenda.
