September 19, 2025 – Zhengzhou, China: BRAVE Combat Federation™ (BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts organization, successfully returned to China with . In partnership with YFU, the event took place at Henan TV Studio 8 in Zhengzhou, delivering an evening of high-caliber competition.
The card was highlighted by the coronation of the BRAVE CF Interim Featherweight World Champion, alongside a series of compelling matchups that further underscored its commitment to showcasing world-class talent on a global stage.
In the main event of , Ukraine’s Omar Solomanov captured the BRAVE CF Interim Featherweight World Championship with a valiant victory over Kazakh rival Rauan “Shymyr” Bekbolat in their highly anticipated rematch.
Solomanov showcased his superior grappling for most of the five-round duel, relentlessly smothering Bekbolat on the canvas. The Kazakh contender, however, surged in the third round, threatening with a series of dangerous submission attempts. Undeterred, the Ukrainian regained control in the championship rounds, suffocating his opponent with airtight ground dominance.
After 25 minutes of action, the judges were unanimous in awarding the decision — and the interim featherweight crown — to Solomanov.
In the co-main event of the evening, former BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion Nicholas Hwende made a triumphant return to the win column with a commanding performance against hometown favorite “The Stalker” Xie Bin in their featherweight showdown. Hwende dictated the tempo from the opening bell, punishing the Chinese star with relentless offense and coming close to a finish on two separate occasions. Despite a late surge from Xie, the Zimbabwean standout remained composed, neutralizing his foe’s efforts and sealing the victory by way of unanimous decision.
Indian newcomer Owais Yaqoob made a statement in his BRAVE CF debut, authoring a dominant first-round finish over Filipino power-hitter Ian Paul “Choco” Lora in their lightweight encounter. Wasting no time, Yaqoob immediately shot for a takedown and drove his opponent to the canvas. Pinning Lora against the cage fence, he unleashed a relentless barrage of hammerfists that forced his opponent to tap out to the relentless ground-and-pound, sealing an impressive win on the global stage.
A riveting 59-kilogram catchweight tiff lit up the BRAVE CF cage as China’s “Little King Kong” Jiniushiyue squared off with South Africa’s Luthando “Shorty” Biko. From the opening salvo to the final horn, both men engaged in a high-paced striking battle, trading heavy shots and refusing to give an inch. The three-round war saw neither man back down, with momentum swinging back and forth in a display of grit and firepower. When the dust settled, it was Jiniushiyue who had his hand raised, earning a unanimous decision and igniting the hometown crowd into thunderous celebration.
China’s Haitao Ti wasted no time in making a statement, spoiling the much-anticipated BRAVE CF comeback of Indian veteran Kantharaj Agasa in emphatic fashion. Their bantamweight clash lasted just over a minute, with Ti quickly imposing his game plan by dragging Agasa to the canvas. Once on the mat, Ti transitioned to back mount and unleashed a barrage of heavy strikes to the side of Agasa’s head, leaving the referee no choice but to call a halt to the matchup.
Kalinu Kadelibieke of China scored the first stoppage of the evening with a third-round finish of Mongolia’s Turbayar Khurelbaatar in their thrilling featherweight bout. Right off the bat, both warriors traded heavy leather in a grueling back-and-forth battle. After a striking war in the early going, Kadelibieke shifted gears in the second frame, mixing in his grappling to gain momentum. The tactical adjustment paid off in the final round, as he overwhelmed Khurelbaatar with relentless ground-and-pound, forcing the referee to step in and wave off the contest.
Zeqiuduoji delivered China’s first win of the night with a resilient performance, edging out Iran’s Mojtaba “The Soldier Panther” Nasiri in a grueling featherweight showdown via unanimous decision. The Iranian imposed his ground game early, controlling much of the opening round. But Zeqiuduoji flipped the momentum in the second, unleashing his trademark power strikes to turn the tide. The Chinese standout carried his momentum into the final frame, overwhelming Nasiri with crisp combinations and stuffing takedown attempts to seal a hard-earned victory on the judges’ scorecards.
BRAVE CF 98 opened with a featherweight clash between Egypt’s Ahmed “The Mental Rock” Tarek and China’s Zhao Yikun. From the opening bell, Tarek imposed his grappling prowess, nearly securing a rare twister submission late in the first round. Maintaining his momentum, the Egyptian standout continued to dictate the pace in the succeeding frames, shutting down Zhao’s striking offense and overwhelming him with relentless ground-and-pound from dominant positions. After three rounds of control, Tarek earned a clear-cut unanimous decision victory.
