Olympic gymnast Suni Lee shared a personal announcement on Wednesday, revealing that she is part of the second American Eagle x Tru Kolors collection launched by Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
Lee, 22, posted a series of Instagram Stories confirming her involvement in the campaign. The posts included images of her modeling the new line, along with captions that gave fans a glimpse into the experience.
In her first slide, Lee showed a group photo with fellow models and Kelce, writing: “another one the second AE x Tru Kolors by Travis Kelce just dropped.”
Suni Lee’s Behind-the-Scenes Moments
The gymnast followed up with a candid look from the set. One story showed her browsing through clothes while captioning the image, “on set!”
Her last update featured her standing in the middle of the modeling group, just behind Kelce. Everyone wore gray sweaters with the “TK” logo printed in white across the chest.
“So grateful to be part of this launch. You can use my link to shop,” Lee expressed her excitement.
The launch marks the second wave of the AE x Tru Kolors collaboration. American Eagle first partnered with Kelce’s fashion brand in August, releasing a collection that quickly drew attention from both the sports and fashion worlds.
On Wednesday, the brand’s official Instagram account confirmed the release of the new drop. The line features more than 90 pieces, including vintage-inspired T-shirts, rugby polos and sweaters.
Kelce said the campaign was designed to highlight athletes who represent individuality and authenticity.
“I’m inspired by where I come from and the people around me,” he explained. “That’s why we chose six incredible athletes who stay true to themselves while changing the game.”
Suni Lee Joins Roster of Young Athletes
Lee is one of six athletes chosen to appear in the second AE x Tru Kolors rollout. Others include UConn basketball guard Azzi Fudd, Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, Penn State quarterback Drew Allar, Syracuse guard Kiyan Anthony and 17-year-old tennis player Anna Frey.
For Lee, the partnership comes shortly after she returned to the spotlight following her Olympic success and ongoing health challenges. Last summer, she overcame a kidney condition that nearly ended her career, eventually adding more medals to her collection at the 2024 Paris Games.
The Minnesota native has openly shared that she is exploring opportunities beyond gymnastics.
Speaking earlier this month, Lee admitted she is unsure about competing at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics but is embracing new ventures in the meantime.
“I’ve just been learning to find myself and find everything else that I’m passionate about because who knows if I’ll come back for the next Olympics,” she told Daily Mail Sport.
For now, Lee’s Wednesday announcement gave fans a new way to support her. This time, not on the balance beam, but through a fashion collaboration, she proudly says she is “so grateful” to be part of.
