The Patriots secured their first victory of the season last week, a hard-fought 10-7 win over Olentangy Berlin in which sophomore David Anyanechi provided an early spark with an 8-yard touchdown reception before senior Luca Tempesta delivered a late game-winning 14-yard field goal with just over a minute remaining.
Dublin Jerome looks to rebound after suffering its first defeat of the season, a 24-16 setback at Westerville Central. The Celtics faced a 17-0 halftime deficit before mounting a second-half comeback behind rushing touchdowns from Rocco Lombardi (20 yards) and Joey Slates (30 yards).
Olentangy Liberty dominated last year’s matchup with a convincing 42-14 victory on home turf.
Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on Friday, September 19 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.
