Even though the November 14 bout between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis is being billed as an exhibition, there will be an official winner.
Three ringside judges, appointed by the athletic commission, will score the fight using professional standards.
The fight is set for ten three-minute rounds, and if it goes to the cards, it will use a ten-point must system.
Both fighters will wear 12oz gloves and are aiming for a knockouts.
Paul has a maximum weight limit of 195lbs for this bout. He has previously weighed in at 227lbs within a year of their meeting, while Davis’ highest recorded fighting weight is 139.5lbs.
USADA to oversee drug testing for Paul vs Davis
Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis will both be tested by USADA in the lead-up to their November fight, which should put some of the PED rumours surrounding Paul to rest. While he has never failed a test, the accusations have persisted.
