U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz had a message for those who are focusing on the political alignment of the man accused of murdering conservative activist Charlie Kirk at a Utah college campus on Wednesday. Too much of that is fueled by the algorithms directing what people see on social media, he said.
“Pull yourself together,,” the Hawaii senator posted on the platform X. “Read a book, get some exercise, have a whiskey or walk the dog or make some pasta or go fishing or just do anything other than let this algo pickle your brain and ruin your soul.” Good advice for everyone, it seems.
