    Odisha Vigilance Raids Forest Officer’s Properties in DA Case

    Acting on warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore (Koraput), the search operation was carried out by a large team comprising seven DSPs, seven Inspectors, nine ASIs, and other supporting staff.

    Locations Raided

    Vigilance officials confirmed that raids were conducted in Kandhamal, Ganjam, Nayagarh, and Rayagada districts, covering both residential and official premises:

    A building in the name of Sahu’s spouse at Baliguda, Kandhamal

    Another building at Baliguda, Kandhamal

    House of in-laws at Karadapada, Nayagarh

    Building at Sraniketa, Daringbadi, Kandhamal

    Another building at Daringbadi, Kandhamal

    Building at Jogiapalli, Kukudakhandi Tahasil, Ganjam

    Cousin’s house at Domuhani, Bhanjanagar, Ganjam

    Office chamber at Forest Range Office, Kashipur, Rayagada

    Residential government quarter near the Forest Range Office, Kashipur, Rayagada

    Seizures So Far

    Officials said that several key documents, including bank passbooks, bonds, and financial papers, have been seized. The total value of the assets and cash, if any, will be disclosed after completion of searches.
