Odisha Reschedules SPOT Admissions for UG, PG, and B.Ed. Courses

Officials cited disruption caused by Cyclone Montha as the reason for the change. The department released a revised timeline to ensure smooth completion of the admission process. According to the new schedule, applicants must physically report to their respective Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) on October 30, 2025, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to submit the Common Application Form (CAF) along with required documents. If unable to attend, applicants may send a representative with valid ID proof. Important Update: In view of #CycloneMontha and expected heavy rainfall, the SPOT Admission for U.G., P.G., B.Ed./M.Ed., 3-Year LL.B., and Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. Courses under #SAMS for 2025–26 has been rescheduled. #Odisha #HigherEducation pic.twitter.com/rP19OALXpM — Higher Education Department, Govt. of Odisha 🇮🇳 (@DHE_Odisha) October 29, 2025 HEIs will publish the merit list of reported applicants on November 1, 2025, at 2 p.m. Institutions will display the list on notice boards and websites, and notify selected candidates via phone or SMS. From November 3 to 6, 2025, HEIs will validate documents, admit waitlisted candidates, and collect admission fees through online payment options such as Net Banking, NEFT, UPI, and Bank Challan. Institutions must update admission details in their e-space by November 6 at 11:45 a.m. The department urged all applicants and institutions to strictly follow the revised schedule to avoid delays and ensure transparency.
