The addition of PG courses will not only enhance the quality of medical teaching and learning but also improve specialised healthcare delivery for the people of the region,” the Chief Minister stated. The new PG seats are set to be introduced in the six government institutions, aiming to elevate the standards of medical training and research. Majhi emphasised the state government’s commitment to full compliance with the norms and standards prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC). “The Government of Odisha is committed to ensuring full compliance with the norms and standards prescribed by the National Medical Commission and to extending all necessary support to develop these institutes into a premier centre of medical excellence,” he noted.
