The grand opening of Ocean State Job Lot’s second Atlantic County store is slated for the week before Thanksgiving, a store official confirmed to NJ Advance Media. The new store at Hamilton Commons near ACME in Mays Landing, will be the 11th Ocean State Job Lot store in New Jersey. A grand opening is planned for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22. The store took over a 34,120-square-foot space previously occupied by Big Lots at 4215 Black Horse Pike, which is across from the Hamilton Mall. Ocean Job Lots offers an array of household goods, apparel, pet supplies, and seasonal products like patio, pool, and beach gear, lawn and garden essentials, heating and cooling items and holiday décor. The new store also brings 60 jobs to the area, according to a statement. The company offers competitive pay and benefits including flexible hours, health insurance, profit participation, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, and a 30% employee discount. Job applications are accepted at the Job Lot career website. The Mays Landing store will be open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The other 10 Ocean State Job Lot in New Jersey include: Barnegat Lower Township Clinton Deptford Franklin Park Freehold Township Holmdel Somers Point South Plainfield Sparta Ocean State Job Lot operates 176 stores across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
